With a PREN of around 35, duplex stainless steels are generally more corrosion resistant than 304 (PREN: 19) and 316 stainless steels (PREN: 26), particularly stress corrosion cracking.

All fittings and flanges are marked with Grade, Lot No, Size, Degree and our trade mark. On special requests we can also, make custom marking on our products.

They are visually examined for conformity to ASTM, ASME, MSS, DIN, EN, and JIS codes and standards. UNS S32205 or DIN W.Nr. 1.4462, duplex 2205 is an austenitic & ferritic (1:1 ratio) Cr-Mo-Ni alloyed stainless steel. Duplex 2205 or UNS S31803 is the most widely used duplex stainless steel grade as it exhibits both yield strength and great corrosion resistance.
